Albert Village Nursery
Our on-site nursery has been an established part of the school community since the 1970s and has been successfully managed by the school’s Governing Body since September 2009. We are proud to offer a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where young children can thrive.
We provide free early education places for children aged 2, 3, and 4 years. Some children may also be eligible for 2-year-old funding and additional support through the Early Years Pupil Premium.
Nursery Sessions and Fees
The nursery operates two sessions each day:
-
Morning session: 8:45am – 11:45am
-
Afternoon session: 12:15pm – 3:15pm
From September 2024, each 3-hour session will cost £21.00 where funding does not apply.
We also offer the 30 hours funded childcare, allowing children to attend for the full day. A small charge of £5.00 applies to cover the lunchtime period. A hot lunch is available for £1.80.
Transition and Inclusion
Transition from nursery into our school, as well as to other settings, is seamless and carefully planned to ensure every child feels confident and secure.
Our nursery is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free access at the front of the building. To support communication and inclusion, Makaton sign language is used as a matter of course throughout the setting.
