Visiting Pre School and Admissions
We encourage all new parents to come and visit our lovely nursery and meet our fantastic team and pupils.
We encourage parents and carers to arrange a visit to Albert Village Nursery to see our setting, meet the team and learn more about how we support children as they begin their learning journey.
Visits usually take place after the school day at 3:30pm, when families can look around the classroom and outdoor environment and find out more about life in our nursery. If this time does not work for your family, please speak to us and we will do our best to arrange an alternative time that is convenient for you.
We strongly encourage families to bring their child along to the visit, as this helps them begin to explore the environment and start to feel familiar and confident in the setting.
To arrange a visit, please contact us at office@albertvillage.risemat.co.uk
Applying for Place
Children are admitted to our nursery Class at the beginning of the term following their 3rd birthday. Admission forms are available at any time from the School website or office.
Completed forms must be returned directly to the school office or nursery staff team, with the child’s birth certificate.
Parents will be informed of the outcome of their application in the term prior to being admitted. It should be noted that, admission to the Pre-School class does NOT constitute admission to the Reception Class, nor does admittance at the nursery give priority access to the School. Parents will still need to apply for a place at the School in line with the admission arrangements of Leicestershire County Council.
Please read our nursery Admissions Policies for the relevant year found here.
